About PHS Motorsports
The Pacifica Motorsports is an organization at Pacifica High School in Garden Grove,
California. Students are currently designing, building, and tuning a
competition go-kart in the manufacturing lab on Pacifica's campus.
Students apply engineering and manufacturing concepts to develop innovative kart components in an authentic learning environment. Current students have completed one or more PHS technology education courses and have passed all safety prerequisites. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Mr. Scoles.

Safety
Energy Invitational
We participate annually in the Energy Invitational at Adams Raceway in Riverside, CA. The event requires us to complete as many laps as possible, in one hour, on $1 of energy. We compete against a number of other high school engineering programs. Students use this experience to learn automotive engineering concepts, while working with experts in the field.
PHS Technology Education Department
The technology department at Pacifica High School has been in existence since the school's opening in 1965. Teachers, administrators, and guidance counselors are working collaboratively to continually update curriculum and resources for technology education classes. Students are currently learning design and manufacturing processes, while utilizing industry standard software and manufacturing machinery.
